Photo album full bound in the library style, in golden bookcalf. Oak leaf back-pared onlay design with blind-tooled stems and lettering. Tweed-threaded hand-stiched headbands. Flyleaves of hand-made Indian paper.
I love this album. I used real oak leaves, pressed into the two colours of green skiver, to create the outlines and guide my tool in veining the onlays. I then blind-tooled the stems, using a thin enough Ascona tool that I needed multiple lines to make up each stem. This gave the stem line a woody feel.
